Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game je zberateľská kartová LCG (living card game) hra, ktorá rozpráva epický príbeh o boji Veľkých Klanov impéria Rokugan, vojnách, cti, hrdinstve, intrigách a sile piatich elementov. Rokugan je mýtická krajina inšpirovaná svetom feudálneho Japonska a jeho mytológie, svetom samurajov a neľútostným bojom medzi ich rodmi, svetom cti, hrdosti, ale aj intríg a zrady.
V samotnej hre môžete hrať za jeden z Veľkých Klanov, ktoré bojujú o moc v Rokugane - Crab, Crane, Dragon, Lion, Phoenix, Scorpion, Unicorn, Spider a Mantis. Každý klan má v hre svoje špecifické prvky a hráčsky balík sa buduje okolo konkrétneho klanu. Hráč riadi svoje zdroje a jednotky dvomi oddelenými balíčkami kariet. Balíček Dynasty zaplňuje jeho provincie postavami a budovami, balíčkom Conflict potom ovláda taktiky, strategické manévre, prívržencov a rôzne prostriedky a pomôcky s ktorými sa snaží uspieť v boji o moc a prevahu. Len správna stratégia vám zaručí úspech v spleti politických i vojenských bojov. Pri tom všetkom však nesmiete zabudnúť na česť, pretože všetky klany musia kráčať cestou Bushida.
Základná hra obsahuje všetko potrebné ku hre – karty siedmych klanov, množstvo žetónov a pravidlá. Môžete ta začať objavovať úžasný a bohatý svet Rokuganu v hre Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game.
